Green's Not Black and White

GNBW (by dmuren)

Making decisions with positive environmental repurcussions is not a simple or an un-nuanced task. To add to the complexity, vested interests in business and government often portray complex environmental issues as one-sided and simple. In Green's not Black and White: the ballanced guide to making eco-decisions Dominic Muren explores the multiple sides of environmental issues. From corn-based ethanol to hybrid cars, recycled plastics, to at-home composting, the discussions raised by GNBW are designed to create a new kind of eco-empowered citizen. One who, rather than being "informed" realizes that eco-choices are ever-evolving, and therefore require continuous curiosity, scepticism, and most importantly, individual evaluation. Making good eco-choices is always about understanding how a problem relates to the circumstances you are in, and the factors that you value; Eco-dogma usually hurts more than it helps.
