PopTech 2011: Introducing Alchematter

I was named a 2011 PopTech Social Innovation Fellow, and traveled to Maine to participate in the fellows colloquium, and speak at the conference. I had a chance to meet some amazing co-fellows, and to introduce Alchematter.org to the world.

I was invited by the incomparable Nassim Assefi and Phil Klien to speak at the first TEDx Rainier in Seattle about some of the most recent developments at the Humblefactory.

TED Global 2010

I was awarded a TED Global fellowship in 2010, and traveled to Oxford to give a talk on Humblefacture.

Ignite: Humblefactured Future

I was selected to give a talk at Seattle's re-inauguration of Ignite, a great quick-talk format mini conference that goes on quarterly. This was the beginning of my exploration of Humblefacture as a new way of making.

Dorkbot: The Digifab Ecosystem

I was invited by the Seattle chapter of Dorkbot -- an awesome loose collective of makers and nerds who get together once a month to drink and talk about their projects -- to speak about the current state of digital fabrication.
